Five sheets of plans, elevations and sections of a mobilisation centre: (1) top plan and sections of the centre; (2) casemates, a magazine and rainwater tanks, with a diagram of the crest of the parapet; (3) casemate windows and doors, bullet-proof gates and loops; (4) retaining walls; (5) outline site plan, on tracing paper. Scale: (1) 1 inch to 30 feet [1:360] (plan), 1 inch to 15 feet [1:180] (sections); (2, 4) 1 inch to 15 feet (parapet diagram); 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120] (plans and elevations), 1 inch to 5 feet [1:60] (sections); (3) 1 inch to 2 feet [1:24] (gates), 1 inch to 1 foot [1:12] (remainder); (5)1:2,500. Items (1-4) initialled by N L A: (1) 24 February 1899, (2) 2 March 1899, (3) 8 March 1899, (4) 20 May 1899; item (5) dated 7 October 1889. Inset to item (4): key plan; scale: 1 inch to 30 feet.
