India: Mhow. 8 sheets of plans, elevations and sections of military buildings: (1) a troop storeroom and bell-of-arms; (2) an artillery barracks, showing proposed alterations to the roof; (3) gun sheds; (4) commissariat buildings, showing proposed alterations to the roof; (5) an artillery hospital for European troops; (6) an artillery barrack; (7) cavalry stables; (8) a barrack for a company. Scale: (1, 7) 1 inch to about 11.5 feet; (2, 8) 1 inch to about 10.5 feet; (3, 5) 1 inch to about 15 feet; (4) 1 inch to about 9.75 feet; (6) 1 inch to about 11.25 feet. Items (1, 3, 5, 7-8) by William Bell, Executive Officer; items (2, 4) by Lieutenant Samuel Athill; no author given on item (6). Various annotations to items (1, 3, 5, 7-8), in faint pencil. Originally accompanying a letter from Lieutenant Colonel Fyers to Sir Alexander Bryce, Mauritius, 19 January 1832.
