Essex: Colchester. Three plans of military buildings on one sheet: (i) 'Scarletts', the residence of the General Officer Commanding; (ii) the Aide-de-Camp's quarters; (iii) a female hospital. Reference tables. Compass indicators. Compiled and partly surveyed under the direction of Colonel Richard Jelf, Commanding Royal Engineer, Eastern District, January 1898; zincographed and printed at the School of Military Engineering, Chatham, under the direction of Captain E H Hills, Royal Engineers; corrected to June 1898. MS amendments, in pencil, to the hospital plan only, dated 1 June 1910.
