Ionian Islands (now part of Greece): Santa Maura (Lefkas or Lefkada). Map showing the nature of the terrain, rivers, villages and the town of Amaxikhi (now Lefkada); also showing Meganisi and part of the adjacent mainland. Scale: 1 cm to about 620 metres. Compass indicator. A note states: that the map was drawn in Corfu (Kerkyra). Endorsed with the title: 'Piano dell'Isola di S a Maura' [Map of the island of Santa Maura]. '1812', which may be either a date or a reference number also appears on the dorse; the War Office map docket book (which was the original means of reference to the War Office maps) suggests about 1815 as a possible date.
