Description

Essex and Suffolk. Two maps on one sheet. (i) Harwich Harbour and Landguard Fort. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile [1:10,560]. Compass indicator. (ii) Harwich town. Scale: 1:2,500. Compass indicator. Printed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, 1887. A printed inscription states that the maps were to be used solely for War Department purposes. Coloured MS additions to both maps highlight the boundaries of War Department property. MS notes on roads, etc, dated 1895.
