Kent: Woolwich (now in the London Borough of Greenwich). 4 maps showing the environs of the Royal Arsenal. (1) Map covering the area between Loughton and Stock, both in Essex, and Shoreham in Kent. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile [1:63,360]. Engraved and transferred to zinc at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, 1890. A printed inscription states that the map is to be used solely for War Department purposes. Coloured MS additions comprising a graphic index to the areas covered by items (2-4). (2) Map covering Woolwich, Plumstead and neighbouring towns. Scale: 6 inches to 1 mile [10,560]. Printed and inscribed as item (1). MS additions, corrections and notes, in pencil and coloured ink, to 1894. (3-4) Map, on two sheets, of the Royal Arsenal and Plumstead Marshes. Scale: 1:2,500. Compass indicators. Printed and inscribed as item (1). Coloured MS additions to item (4) marking areas on the marshes belonging to the Arsenal.
