'North Weald Redoubt': three maps one sheet, each showing the location of the redoubt relative to the surrounding settlements, roads and railway line, and the boundary of War Department property. Scale: (i) 1 inch to 1 mile [1:63,360]; (ii) 6 inches to 1 mile [1:10,560]; (iii) 1:2,500. Reproduced from parts of the following Ordnance Survey maps: (i) [?one-inch New Series England and Wales sheet 257]; (ii) [six-inch County Series sheet Essex L]; (iii) [1:2,500 County Series sheet Essex L.12]. This sheet printed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton. A printed inscription states that the map is to be used solely for War Department purposes.
