Scale: 1:500 (plans); 1 inch to 5 feet [1:60] (sections). (Signed): Major C Coffin, Royal Engineers, 1 March 1909; and Lieutenant Colonel C Godby, commanding Royal Engineer, Chatham Sub-District, 8 April 1909; printed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton. Coloured MS additions and corrections made at various dates to 1924. A coloured pencil inscription states: 'Superseded by revised edition of 1926': the revised plan has not been identified within the holdings of The National Archives.
