Spain: Isla de León: San Fernando. 'Ground near the Caño de Herrera ...': map showing gardens, wells, walks and the quarters of the [British Army] 79th Regiment. Scale: 1 inch to 40 feet. Signed by Edward Bird, Royal Military Draughtsman, 23 June 1810. According to the War Office map docket book (which was the original means of reference to the War Office maps), this map was brought home [to the War Office] when British troops evacuated Cadiz in 1814.
