Spain. 'Plan of the Fortifications and City of Cadiz with sketches of its principal dependancies [sic: dependencies]': two copies of a map. Scale: 1 inch to about 60 yards. Compass indicator. Item (1) signed by Captain George Landmann, Royal Engineers, 15 July 1809; item (2) copied from item (1). Five insets: (i-iii) plans of Fort Luis, Fort Mata-Gorda and Fort Puntales, with reference tables and descriptions; (iv) map showing the site of the Suazo Bridge, crossing the Sancti Petri river; (v) 'Sketch of the Harbour of Cadiz for the purpose of shewing the relative situations of the Forts, Batteries and other objects mentioned in the report accompanying this plan': map of the environs of Cádiz and Isla de León. The report mentioned in the title of inset (v) is not filed with these maps.
