Ha[...]'. [The remainder of the name is missing, due to damage; the full name might have been John Harwood, a Third Class Royal Military Surveyor and Draughtsman working in the Ordnance Office in 1814-1815; conversely, the War Office map docket book (which was the original means of reference to the War Office maps) suggests that the surname was Hammond and gives the date of copying as March 1815.] (2) 'Section thro' Fort Imperial ...'.
