(4-7) Four sheet of drawings of a proposed barrack for 200 men: (4) plan and elevation; (5) detail of ironwork; (6) details for the end galleries and staircases; (7) section of the barrack. Reference table to item (7) detailing components; various reference notes and calculations to items (4-6). Scale: (4) 1 inch to 8 feet [1:96]; (5-6) 1 inch to 1 foot [1:12]; (7) 1 inch to 2 feet [1:24]. Item (4) drawn by S B Howlett, Royal Military Surveyor, 18 October 1824. (1-3) Three sheets of related notes and calculations; the dorse of item (1) signed by General Fanshawe. Originally produced to accompany a letter from General Mann to the Board of Ordnance, 18 October 1824; this letter is not filed with the drawings.
