'Military Survey From the River Manique to Fonteneles, including Cascaes [Cascais], Cintra [Sintra] & the Cape Roca; Presented to... the Board of Ordnance By the Royal French Engineers... employed with the British Auxiliary Army in Portugal. 1800': two copies of a map showing towns and villages, roads, rivers, and contours. Title in a decorative cartouche. Scale: 1 inch to 200 fathoms [1 inch to 1,200 feet]. Compass indicator. Item (2) signed by Lieutenant Colonel Charles D'Ivory, Commanding the Royal French Engineers; item (1) is a copy begun by R Searle and finished by William Stanley Junior, 10 August 1812.
