Gibraltar. Four sheets of drawings of fortifications and works. (1) '... Plan of a progressive Improvement of the Line Wall': showing the area between Prince Edward's Battery and the Old Mole. (2-3) Two sheets, each bearing two sections through the works. (4) '... Elevation of the Line Wall From Orange Bastion to Prince Edward's Battery'. Scale: (1, 4) 1 inch to 50 feet [1:600]; (2-3) 1 inch to 8 feet [1:96]. Each item signed by Major General Robert Pilkington, 17 March 1826. Dimensions: (1) 33 cm x 420 cm; (2-3) each about 65 cm x 100 cm; (4) 25 cm x 348 cm. Originally enclosed in a letter to General Mann, 17 March 1826; this letter is not filed with the drawings.
