Ionian Islands (now part of Greece): Corfu (Kerkyra): Vidos islet. 4 sheets of drawings of fortifications. (1) 'Ground Plan of the Principal Work projected for the Island of Vido'. (2) 'Plans of the detached Lunette projected for the Island of Vido': with a section. (3) 'Plan of the Principal Work projected for the Island of Vido'. (4) 'Sections through the Principal Work projected for the Island of Vido'. Scale: 1 inch to 30 feet [1:360] (plans); 1 inch to 15 feet [1:180] (sections). Items (1) and (4) (signed): Captain J Harper, Royal Engineers, February 1824; copied by J Nightingale, July 1824. Items (2-3) (signed): Lieutenant [Charles Ogle] Streatfield, Royal Engineers, February 1824; item (2) copied by S B Howlett and item (4) copied by J Nightingale, both dated July 1824. Reference table is affixed to the face of item (1). Various pencilled additions to items (1) and (4). All items originally produced to accompany a report dated 14 January 1824; this report is not filed with the drawings.
