Ionian Islands (now part of Greece): Corfu (Kerkyra) Vidos islet. Eight sheets of drawings showing proposed works: (1) 'No. 7. Plan and section of the Lunette projected for the Island of Vido'. (2) 'No. 7. Plan and Sections of the Lunette projected for the Island of Vido': a corrected version of item (1). (3) 'No. 5. Upper Story of Tower ...'. (4) 'No. 6': elevations and sections. (5) 'No. 4. Foundation Plan of Tower'. (6) 'No. 3. Upper Plan of the Principal Work ...'. (7) 'No. 2. Foundation Plan of the principal Work projected for the Island of Vido'. (8) 'No. 1. Plan shewing the system of Drains' [of the principal work]. Reference notes. Scale: (1) 1 inch to 15 feet [1:180]; (2) 1 inch to 15 feet and 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120]; (3-5) 1 inch to 8 feet [1:96]; (6-8) 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240]. Copied by: (1, 3) Lieutenant L V Smith, Royal Engineers; (4) Lieutenant H G Bolders, Royal Engineers; (5-6) Lieutenant C Mackenzie, Royal Engineers; (7-8) Lieutenant H Servante, Royal Engineers; item (2) is unsigned. Various pencilled additions, including notes to items (1-2) stating that certain details are incorrect on item (1) and correct on item (2). Items (2-7) endorsed: 'Colonel Jones 14th Jan. 1824'. Sheet sizes between 76 cm x 128 cm and 69 cm x 113 cm.
