'General Karte von der Europäischen Turkei ...': map of the area between Fiume (now Rijeka, Croatia), the Danube Delta (now in Romania), Bursa (in Turkey), and Brindisi (in Italy). Compiled and drawn by Heinrich Kiepert; terrain engraved by W Kratz, Schleich and Sporer; writing engraved by W and C Kratz, Weimar; originally published by Dietrich Reimer, Berlin, 1853; this edition published in 1870; railways added to 1875. Insets: maps of Montenegro, the southern Dardanelles, and Constantinople (now Istanbul) and the Bosporus strait.
