Compy's map of 1844 ...': covering the environs of Wellington and Porirua, North Island, showing government reserves, military posts, cleared spaces, etc, and soundings in fathoms. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile. Originally accompanying a report from Captain Collinson to the Commanding Royal Engineer, 16 April 1848, and forwarded with the Commanding Royal Engineer's letter number 106, 7 September 1848; this report is not filed with the map.
