Copied from an original survey by Captain Dawson and Lieutenant Herbert Locock, Royal Engineers; copied by Lieutenant Locock; signed by Lieutenant Colonel S J Westmacott, Commanding Royal Engineer. Originally accompanying a letter from Lieutenant Colonel Westmacott to the Inspector General of Fortifications, 27 November 1861; the letter is not filed with this sheet.
