Minorca (Menorca; now part of Spain): Mahón. Two sheets of drawings of Saint Philip's Castle (Fort San Felipe): (1) 'A Plan of the upper works ...'; (2) 'Sections Thro: the Diagonals, North West, and South East Courtains [i.e. curtains]; Likewise Thro: the South West and North East Courtains ...', and 'The Exteriour Covert-way [i.e. the exterior covered way] ... Unfolded, being from the Saliant [salient] angle before the South Lunett [lunette] to the Royal Battery'. Reference table to each sheet. Decorative scrollwork around the titles and reference tables. Scale: (1) 1 inch to 200 feet [1:2,400]; (2) 1 inch to 25 feet [1:300]. Both sheets surveyed and drawn by Humphrey Herbert, 1735. Dimensions: (1) 63.5 cm x 52 cm; (2) 108 cm x 308 cm.
