Sudan. 'Afafit Fort, E. Soudan': plan, three sections and a site map, all on one sheet. Scale: 1 inch to 20 feet [1:240] (plan); 1 inch to 10 feet [1:120] (site plan); 1 inch to about 330 feet [1:3,960] (map). Compass indicators. (Signed): Lieutenant R S Curtis, Royal Engineers, 21 September 1891, and Lieutenant Colonel A Hunter, 21 September 1891; this copy by Lance Corporal E Liddiatt, Royal Engineers. Various later additions and corrections.
