Several reference notes, including one consisting of an extract from the title deeds for the post, and another signed by Lieutenant W P Jones, Royal Engineers, 7 July 1871. Scale: 1 inch to 150 feet. Compass indicator. [Copied from an original map by] Colonel Thomas Fyers, Royal Engineers, 2 January 1838; [?this copy by] Lieutenant G R Hutchinson, Royal Engineers. Stamped at the Royal Engineers' Office, Mauritius, 14 June 1875.
