Mauritius: Grande Rivière Nord-Ouest. 'Doctor Powell's Property at Sable Noir, Grand River N.W.': map of land west of the Dayot Canal, adjacent to War Department property. Scale: 1 inch to about 130 feet. Compass indicator. Copied and reduced from an original map by J L F Target, Sworn Land Surveyor, 17 July 1861; this copy dated 18 September 1861. Stamped at the Royal Engineers' Office, Mauritius, 14 June 1875.
