Photographs registered at the Stationer's Company.
Bundle of forms applying for registration for copyright. Each form provides a description of the photograph(s), together with the names and addresses of authors and copyright owners.
It should be noted that a number of registration forms, with photographs annexed, are now absent from this bundle. They are deemed 'Missing' as there is no knowledge of their being mislaid prior to transfer to The National Archives. Descriptions of these items, taken from the Stationers Hall registers, are given below. Some of these items formed part of a sequence, such as a portfolio of portraits of a particular individual or a set of scenic views. Where this is the case a cross-reference entry has been provided as an addendum to the last surviving entry within that sequence.
