Description

Captured place: St Eustatius and its Dependencies (captured by Admiral Rodney, 3 February 1781). Pieces HCA 42/149 to 153 contain 64 claims.

Claim 34. Claimant: George William Soltan of Suffolk Lane, London, merchant in parternship with Paul Amsinck of the Steel Yard, London, on behalf of Mathias and Thomas Breese; Caspar Vought and Co; Graepel and Heiser; Peter Glashoff; Cordes and Gronmeyer; assignees of the estates and effects of Franz Peter His, bankrupt; Messrs Rucher and Wortmann, of Hamburg, German subjects; Blake and Kirchhoff, of Bremen, German subjects; Jean de St Vanne of Popplesdorf, Bavarian subject; Frederick Shroeder; Frederick Wilhelm Shoultzes widow and son, of Bremen, German subjects; Christian Blatter, native of Thriman, Switzerland, inhabitant of St Eustatius and now of the Danish Island of St Thomas. Claimant: William Mair of New Broad Street, London, on behalf of Anthony Doppey of Neuenhaus is a town in the county of Bentheim, subject of the British sovereign as Elector of Brunswick-Luneburg.
