Description

Indexes to Registers of Certificates of Competency and Service of masters and mates aboard foreign-going and home trade passenger ships kept by the Registrar General of Shipping and Seamen and its predecessor.

The relevant certificates are in BT 122, BT 123, BT 124, BT 125, BT 126 and BT 128.

The indexes give the date and place of birth in many cases, and the certificate number.
