Description

Entry book of royal and Treasury warrants authorising a wide range of business including the sale of land, tithes and timber, the grant of new leases, the improvement of properties, the charging of increased (or reduced) rent, the enfranchisement of copyhold premises, and the grant of licences to explore for coal.

Does not contain entries for Scotland and Ireland.
