Description

Broken file of Bench writs ('extracta brevium') and associated material sent to the Derbyshire eyre of 1330-31.

One three files of writs sent to the eyre (c.f. E 101/333/8), containing writs returnable in the Bench between the quindene of Easter 1327 and the octave of Hilary 1330. It is likely that further writs are now missing from the top of the file, originally returnable during the remainder of Hilary term and the early part of Easter term 1330.
