8 items (15 sheets) extracted from C 54/13936. Plans, sections and elevations of specifications for: i) Parker's improvements in the construction of piano fortes; ii) bessemer's improvements in expressing and treating oils in the manufacture of varnishes, pigments and paints; iii) Poole's improvements in apparatus for drawing fluids from human and animal bodies; iv) Smith's improvements in corsets, shoes and other clothing; v) Allport's improved method of manufacturing parts for weaving looms; vi) Da Costa's improvements in vessels for holding solids and fluids and in machinery for manufacturing them; vii) De Fontainemoreau's improvements in weaving; viii) Colegrave's improvements in communication between the passengers and guard and between the guard and the driver of a railway train, parts of which are also applicable to working railway signals.
