Description

10 items extracted from SP 29/422. (1) Petition of Jaques Guibal and other Frenchmen (named) requesting denization. (2) Representation of the Grand Jury to the Lord Mayor of London regarding catholics and non-conformists. (3) List of the members of the Royal African Company. (4) Case of Thomas Beckford, slopseller in the Royal Navy. (5) Petition of Edmond Craister, High Sheriff of Northumberland. (6) Petition of the Yeomen Warders of the Tower of London. (7) Presentment to the Grand Jury and others of Southampton, Hampshire, granting the County Hall and its land to the King for building on. (8) Certificate of the JPs, Aldermen and Burgesses of the Borough of Penryn, Cornwall, stating that the building erected by Thomas Worth is not a hindrance to traffic. (9) Bond for the transportation of malefactors (named). (10) Presentment of the Grand Jury of Kent regarding catholics and non-conformists.
