Wood v Goodlake.
Appellants: Sir Matthew Wood bt and Jacob Osborn esq, two of the executors, and Edwin Shelton and William Philip Price esq (executors of John Chadborn esq, a third executor) of James Wood esq deceased.
Respondents: Elizabeth Goodlake widow, second cousin and next of kin, and Edward Hitchings, alleged second cousin and next of kin, and an admitted contradictor to the will, of the said deceased.
Adherents to the appeal: Thomas Helps esq, Samuel Wood, Thomas Wood and Henry Hooper Wilton esq (Syndic to the Corporation of Gloucester) four of the legatees named in a pretended codicil to the will.
