Description

Miscellaneous papers

Note
SP 24/29-87 are arrangements created by Mrs M A E Green whose death in 1895 prevented her from editing a calendar of the class. Some relate to indemnity cases not identified; others are papers on which the Committee was ordered to report, petitions referred to them, or letters to them from other Interregnum committees. There are also shorthand notes on some cases dated 1652-1653,which may not have been identified: the case papers do include shorthand documents from the same period, after the Committee became a Commission. SP 24/29 also contains papers relating to this transfer, and a fascicule timetable of cases to be heard by the Commission from 12 August 1653 to February 1654 which is comparable to the timetable in SP 24/28.
