Description

Book containing accounts of payments including stipends, pensions and annuities relating to the property of dissolved monasteries and several rentals (particularly of Tutbury, Staffordshire), reparations, testamentary endowments and memorandums. Also contains rental of the free tenants of Hardwicke and a paper relating to the tithes of Thorpe End and Wymondham [Norfolk]. Connected with John Scudamore's work as receiver to the Court of Augmentations. One of two books (item number 6695)
