Leicester Castle, (as in DL 30/81/1119, but [Leicester, etc.], Leicester Castle, also with Bromkyngesthorp; [Leicester], Harbury, also with Tutbury Fee; [Warwick], Leicester Town, Stapleford, with Eastwell, Harborough (Erdeborowe), Dalby, Little Somerby, Coston, Edmundthorpe, Wymondham, Saxby, Burton Lazars; [Leicester], Lapworth; [Warwick]: Courts, Halmote, Market Courts, Portmote, defaults of bakers, "Curia Caumolata," Swainmote, Woodmote. 12 to 13 Eliz. 18 membranes Excepting Ward of the Castle, Glenfield, and "Janitor Castri" (under Leicester Castle), Halston Gate (under Brontkingsthorpe), Newthorpe (under Gotham), Cotes and Sywalby (under Sileby), Knaptoft (under Noseley and Mowsley), Newbold (under Brinklow), and Lapworth (under Harbury); Heathley much defaced. ?
