The photographs in BK 12/1-4 show the construction, surroundings, official opening, exterior and interior decor of NDLB Head Office in London. The photographs in BK 12/5-13 show local offices, call stands, medical centres, sports and welfare facilities, both under construction and after completion, throughout the country.
The arrangement is by port following the custom of the National Dock Labour Board: from north-east England clockwise to east Scotland.
