Arrangement

Grouped into subseries to reflect the arrangement of the original Hudson's Bay Company Archives held at the Provincial Archives of Manitoba.

Where a microfilm includes several distinct records, these items have been distinguished using the original Hudson's Bay Company Archives referencing system. In these cases, the order of the catalogue entries reflects the order of the content on the roll of film. Please note that piece-level catalogue entries represent one physical reel which may contain records from multiple consecutive original references. Where this is the case, the piece-level entry is further itemised based on the former references present in the reel. Where a former reference is continued on a different reel, the first item will include (part) in the former reference and the following items will include (contd).
