The council was reconstituted every three years and within that timescale the records have been arranged in the following manner:
- Welsh Economic Council Agenda and Minutes;
- Welsh Economic Council Papers;
- Welsh Economic Panels;
- Welsh Council Agenda and Minutes;
- Welsh Council Papers;
- Welsh Council Panels - Agenda, Minutes and Papers;
- Welsh Council Committee - Structure within the Panels.
The panel papers have been arranged in the same three year blocks and are arranged alphabetically by name.
The papers circulated to the council and panels carry the prefix CC. This prefix stands for Cyngor Cymru which is Welsh for Welsh Council.
