Bankruptcy enrolment books of the Office of the Commissioners of Bankrupts and Court of Bankruptcy. They include enrolments of commissions and fiats of bankruptcy, certificates of conformity, assignments, adjudications, appointment of assignees, examinations, depositions etc.
In some cases it is difficult to date these books; the dates attributed to the assignment books in the piece descriptions, for example, should be regarded as tentative. There might be a lapse of several years between the execution of a document and its enrolment.
