ROWLES v JONES Of the 70 or so exhibits found loose among the papers only one deed and two bonds can be clearly identified under the above names. These relate to Isaac Rowles and Ann Merchant and on behalf of the creditors of Sir William Fowler deceased,plaintiffs, and to John and Lucy Jones and others, defendants. Judgement: that the distribution of assets be held over pending search for a missing legatee, Isabella Harper The remaining exhibits consist of indentured leases of property in several parts of England and Wales and include:
Leases of rooms and outhouses made to tenants by Dr Henry Killigrew, Master of the Savoy Hospital (1674);
Bond forbidding export of wool (1702);
Appointment of Michael Broughton as Receiver for several counties in North Wales (1713);
Will of Thomas Marriot of Lincoln's Inn (1723);
Indenture for a marriage settlement - cause Groom v Sayer Receipts for four bundles of court rolls to be delivered back when required (1727). Five bundles.
