FARRER (AND ANOTHER) v HUTCHINSON (AND OTHERS)

Letters to Thomas Farrer from his brother-in-law, James Hutchinson (jnr), in Lisbon, about shipments of wool and cloth. Numerous references to life and events in Lisbon, including descriptions of an earthquake and a public execution (1815-1817, 72 folios, part 1);

Letters to Thomas Farrer from Ambrose Pollett, mostly from Lisbon, regarding the handling of business and advising on consignments following Samuel Farrer's death (1815-1820, 47 folios, part 2);
