Letters from various government offices (departments) and individuals, most of which relate to the despatches sent from the governor in this volume as well as CO 37/254 and CO 37/255.

Offices: Admiralty, Crown Agents, Foreign Office, Board of Trade, Treasury, General Post Office, United Free Church of Scotland, Board of Agriculture and Fisheries, Royal Mail Steam Packet Company, Metropolitan Police, and the Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction for Ireland.

Individuals: Medical Advisor Dr. James Arnolt concerning J H Sempill, Rev J Wales Cameron, Richard Dickeson & Co Ltd, Furness Withy & Co Ltd, General Manager of the Atlantic Coast SS Co Ltd Philip Manson, Walter Runciman & Co, Percy Musgrave Cresswell Sheriff, Ernest Trimingham regarding his musical 'A Night in Bermuda', Robert Tucker & Co, C A Wilde, and Mrs. M Walker widow of former Inspector of Police J Walker.
