Description

Letters from various government offices (departments) and individuals, most of which relate to the despatches sent from the governor in CO 37/202. Offices: Admiralty, Board of Trade, Treasury, Foreign Office, Home Office, War Office, Land Board, Post Office, British Museum, South Kensington Museum, and Office of Commissioners in Lunacy. Individuals: John Body, James Cosgrove, the Bishop of Newfoundland, Rev C E Stewart, and W Smith.
