Description

Letters from various government offices (departments) and individuals, most of which relate to the despatches sent from the governor and lieutenant governor in CO 37/191 and CO 37/192.

Offices: Admiralty, Colonial Agents General, Council Office, Foreign Office, Home Office, Land Board, Law Office, Post Office, Civil Service Commission, Board of Trade, Treasury, and War Office.

Individuals: Brown and Watson, Cox & Co, former Assistant Surgeon W H Dickey, former Assistant Warden Thomas Kemp, Governor Harry St. George Ord (while on leave), and J Smith.
