Correspondence from 'offices' (Government departments and other organisations) on matters relating to the Leeward Islands. Correspondents and subjects are as follows:

  • Admiralty (St Kitts: riots and claim for naval stores, loss of ammunition during riots);
  • Crown Agents (Dominica: proposed roads, Crown lands, appointment of nurse, erection of jetty; Antigua: Barbuda, accounts, raising of loans, Police ammunition, disposal of dredger Pholas, post of Chief Keeper of Lunatic Asylum, Barbuda Island Company, ammunition for Martini Enfield Rifles, issue of debentures; Montserrat: 4% debentures, account of presidency, draft of £750, raising of loan; St Kitts: treasury debentures, advance to Mr T Riseley Griffith; Leewards: land titles assurance funds, draft of £750);
