Order from viceroy to hong merchants, referring to the remonstrances of Select Committee and private merchants. The prohibition against women is of long standing, the other matters are trifles and also of long standing; the hong merchants are to order the foreign woman to be sent away, and the foreigners should obey the rules, trade peacefully and not make trouble. (Dated: 9m 5d).
