Paper laid before the tea-men by the Select Committee. Down-payments on tea contracts will not in the present year by paid by the Company, owing to the tea-men's unsatisfactory performance of their contractual obligations in the past. The Company desire 11 chops of tea from each of the seven junior hong merchants and will not take excess quantities from the senior merchants. (Dated: 11 June).
