Order from Hoppo to hong merchants. The viceroy has learned from the subprefect for Macao that Chinese traitors, who escaped the raid, were cutting type in the Company's Macao premises and that translations were seized, and has ordered that no repetitionof this illegality is to be permitted by the taipan. The taipan is to be so ordered. (Dated: 1m 11d).
