Petition from hong merchants to Hoppo. The three men were urgently needed to look after five ships which had recently arrived to unload Company cotton and rice and to load tea, and they ask to be excused. (Dated: 6m -d);
Ruling by Hoppo. On this occasion the men will not be reported to the viceroy and governor but there must be no repetition. (Dated: [6m -d]).
