Magniac declined to hand over to Goqua clocks and watches costing $24,000 which the Hoppo urgently demanded as a contribution from Goqua to tribute for the emperor until Mowqua and Howqua had guaranteed to Magniac that Goqua would pay later in the year out of tea moneys received from the Company;
Enclosure: Draft of Goqua's agreement with Mowqua and Howqua to that effect
