Has sent his eldest son to the Bohea hills for Congou and is keeping the third son, whom he will not allow to handle the hong's business, at home; reports on tea contracts and related disposals of long ells, on other purchases for the company, on the prospects for camlet sales, and on the Hoppo's increased demands for forced contributions. Asks how the Hog Lane premises should be fenced off, and promises to send two sheep and an ox. (Dated: 4m 10d). 13 sheets.
